Most of our engineers end up doing jobs, only a handful of them venture into management and become Entrepreneurs. This fact was highlighted by ISB and they have launched a very enterprising Two Years “Technology Entrepreneuship Programme (TEP). ISB emphasized, TEP will encourage and enable Engineering Students to Creat and Launch new business ventures.
ISB has launched the Programme at both its Campuses in Hyderabad and Mohali. In Hyderabad the Programme was inaugurated by Honourable Minister of IT & Panchayat Raj, K T Rama Rao. The TEP Programme Launch was marked with the presence of memebers of the Participating Institutions, Members of ISB community, and dignitaries like of Ajit Rangnekar, Dean, ISB, H K Mittal, Advisor, Member Secretary, National Science & Technology Board (NSTEDB) and Secretary, Technology Development Board (TDB), members of the TEP Advisory Board, leading entrepreneurs, angel investors, students from the participating institutions and members of the ISB community.
The IT & Panchayat Minister, Mr. K T Rama Rao, who had recently spoken about the vast multidimensional structured development of Hyderabad and the Telangana State expressed his confidence in the TEP Programme.
H K Mittal, Advisor, Member Secretary, on a strategic note mentioned that, the TEP should be opted only if one is passionate about it. Monitory benefits are the by-products of any well executed Idea. Later during the launch, Ajit Rangnekar, Dean expressed that such Programme will Bridge the gap between the Government, Academics, and Indusry. Programme’s like TEP will harvest many new Ventures, which in turn will create many job opportunities. The praised the Telangana Government for its Support, encouragement, and farsighted Vision.
